With over 230 fatalities and nearly 46,000 injuries occurring annually from falling objects there continues to be a revolution towards dropped objects prevention and safe objects at heights management. This movement was recently formalized by the development and release of ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 The American National Standard for Dropped Object Prevention Equipment. With this long overdue safety movement comes questions and a need for guidance on how to implement a dropped objects component to your safety program.
Join Industrial Supply Co. as they host the chairman of the ANSI/ISEA 121 committee Nate Bohmbach, Product Director at Ergodyne for an Objects at Heights Competent Person training. Ergodyne’s O@H Competent Person will teach students a general overview of O@H hazards and go in depth on the installation, inspection and use of tethering systems and other dropped objects prevention solutions.
A certificate of attendance will be provided to those who complete the training and further Q&A will be available for those interested in implementing a program.
